GameDay Sports Adds New Managing Partner

Minneapolis, Minn. – GameDay Sports Media and Marketing (GameDay Sports) today announced the addition of Marc Morgan as its Managing Partner. Morgan will oversee all day-to-day operations of Agency’s business units including print publications, consulting and partnerships.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Marc since the inception of our Agency in 2001 and I’m convinced he’s the right person to lead and manage our organization as we continue forward,” said Galen Beenken, Founder and CEO of GameDay Sports. “Marc brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Agency, having worked in all four major pro sports leagues as well as Big Ten college athletics and most recently Major League Soccer (MLS). His ability to build partnerships, quickly find solutions and lead our team will be a big boost for GameDay Sports as we continue to grow our business.”
Morgan was most recently Vice President of Corporate Partnerships with Minnesota United FC where he was tasked to lead the corporate sales team, build partnerships and open Allianz Field. Prior to his time at the United, Morgan spent 14 years with the Minnesota Vikings supporting several of the team’s largest sponsors. His career also includes time as Director of Sales at Gopher Sports Properties selling University of Minnesota athletics, the Tampa Bay Lighting (NHL), Buffalo Sabres (NHL), Detroit Pistons (NBA) and the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB).

Morgan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marquette University and a M.B.A from the University of St. Thomas. He will be based in the Agency’s Minneapolis offices.
