MINNESOTA UNITED FC
Minnesota United FC is an American professional soccer club based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The club began play in 2017 as the Major League Soccer's (MLS) 22nd club. The Minnesota United franchise worked to seek approval to build a new stadium and in 2019 Allianz Field opened hosting a variety of events including professional soccer.
SCOPE
During construction of the team's new $250M stadium, the Club looked to grow their sponsor revenue and ensure the stadium was built by local construction contractors, and also showcase local suppliers for stadium needs, food, beverage offerings, etc.
OUTCOME
Minnesota United signed 20+ new partnerships equating to over $3M in revenue. In doing so, both fans and the local business community benefited through new business opportunities and a nationally awarded game day experience.
